課程概述

This course discusses the fundamentals and applications of engineering information management through lectures, in-class group discussions, homework assignments, and projects. The topics discussed include:

  1. Introduction to Database Management
  2. Management Information Systems in a Networked Digital Enterprise
  3. Engineering Information Lifecycle Management
  4. Engineering Information Sharing and Standardization
  5. Visualization of Engineering Information
  6. 4D Construction Management
  7. Engineering Knowledge Management
 

課程目標
After completing this course, the students should learn:
  1. The objectives, scope, and importance of engineering information management
  2. Key concepts for applying engineering information management effectively
  3. Basic knowledge of related computer & information technologies for engineering information management
